Twenty Cents (1875-1878)
Current Numismatic Coin Values

One of the most unsuccessful coins ever produced by the United States was the Twenty Cent piece. It simply did not catch on with the public and was produced only in the years 1875 to 1878.

Collectors today, however, are quite interested in this odd denomination, and are willing to pay good money to obtain one.

The 1876-CC, for instance, is one of the most valuable US coins of all. The estimated numismatic coin values of the Twenty Cent piece are found lower on this page.

Bear in mind the best a coin price guide can do is to give you an estimate what a coin is really worth. That’s one of the reasons why ranges are given for individual coin values in a variety of grades.

The Twenty Cent price guide was furnished to us by the NumisMaster Coin Values website, where coin and currency listings from all over the world can be viewed through the NumisMaster Coin Price Guide.

We have many other guides available where you can study US collectible coin values. Take a look at the “Current U.S. Coin Values” link posted near the upper right hand corner of this page. When you select it, a new window will open containing links to other price guides. You can also access these same price guides by meandering over to the introductory page of this section and scrolling to the end of the page.
