Draped Bust Small Eagle Quarter (1796)
Current Numismatic Coin Values
|
The Draped Bust Small Eagle Quarter was issued
in 1796 only. Quarter production did not resume until 1804, when the
reverse featured a large eagle.
The 1796 Draped Bust Quarter is one of the greatest of all rare US
coins. The main objective of this page is to show approximate retail
prices of this rare quarter in today’s marketplace.
Estimated numismatic coin values of the 1796 quarter are listed at the
bottom of this page. Of course, condition (i.e. grade) makes a huge
difference in determining what the coin is worth.
Values are shown as ranges, rather than specific dollar figures. For
each grade, there is a lower number and an upper number. If you are
into rare coin collecting and are one of the lucky few who own this
jewel of US numismatics, there is a good chance you could sell it at a
price somewhere within this range.
This coin price guide was provided to us by the NumisMaster
Coin
Values website, where you can check up on the estimated retail
price of many coins and
currencies throughout the world with the NumisMaster Coin Price Guide.
You may research rare coin values of other
United States regular issues on this site. Accessing additional price
guides is fast and easy. Simply click the “Current U.S. Coin Values”
link located near the upper right hand corner of this page. The same
set of reports can also be viewed by heading to the introductory
page of our current coin values section.
